Farnell Jaguar Land Rover have built a great relationship with Reforma over the years wrapping almost over 100 vehicles in the space of twelve months. The Process
To ensure a quality finish on all wraps, preparation is key. This begins with a thorough clean down of the vehicle including the inside. The vehicle is then brought into our workshop to be stripped down of its parts. Often with black cars, we don’t need to strip much off as a lot can be hidden. And particularly with printed designs, to ensure perfect alignment, we will take off as little as possible. Once the bodywork has been prepped, our vehicle wrapping team will begin to apply the vinyl. Firstly they tape on the vinyl to check all the prints are to the correct size and no discrepancies. They will then begin to apply the vinyl panel at a time. Applying heat when necessary to reduce high gather areas. The material used was the 3M 8550 in a combination of satin and matte highlighted with the 3M 2080 Gloss Sky blue.

The Results
Both very dramatic and iconic were the words used by the sales team at Farnell. Having seen the design on screen, we were all apprehensive to what the final result would look like but after completion, the Reforma team including our clients loved the design. The gorgeous contrast of gloss, satin & matte working in harmony highlighting the iconic Jaguar leaper on the sides in satin white.
