Reforma have been known for its unique Ford Ranger conversions. The levels we go to is decided upon the clients preference. How loud we go on the styling or if it’s just some subtle enhancements. Ford recently released the Thunder which is its more sporty model. However this particular client felt as though it wasn’t enough therefore arrived to Reforma looking for colour codes wheels arches, front lower bull bar, new wheels/ tyres and finally a 2 inch lift kit. Not transforming it look completely but keeping inline with the OEM styling, only slightly enhanced.
To complete a conversion kit on a Ford Ranger, we simply decide on the package pre-booking and confirm a date with yourself. The conversion depending on the level will take 7 – 14 working days. With this particular Thunder, we required a total of 4 days to complete the enhancement. The wheel arches were sent to our paint shop to be specifically matched to the body work. Thereon after the original wheels were removed in order to install the 2 inch lift. Once completed, the newly painted arches are placed back on finishing it off with a new set of Black Rhino 20inch matte black Overland Alloy Wheels with a set of off-road Renegade R7 tyres. The Ranger was then fitted with a front lower spoiler bar finished in matte black giving it a more aggressive stance. Once all the modifications have been completed, the vehicle undergoes a control check and all round wheel alignment. Ensuring the vehicle is safe to drive away.
The final results were subtle yet at the same time substantial in its aesthetic appeal. Colour coded arches made the vehicle look wider but also a part of the original panels. The wheels fit out the arches much better and with the chunky Renegade tyres going the Ranger the off-road look it needs. Overall the conversion was simple but very affective. The client was amazed by how OEM it looked whilst still being different to all the others on the road.
