BMW M4
Nardo Grey
Sometimes, car manufacturers produce colours which are quite different to regular colours available; and some colours become well-known and famous. Nardo Grey is one of these; it’s available on certain Audi vehicles and is a deep gloss grey colour which adds a stealthy look to any car.
This is the colour our customer Mr. M needed for his new BMW M4 – The standard Black Sapphire colour the car came in is nice, but subtle. We looked through our range of premium wrapping films, and decided on Avery Supreme – Gloss Grey as being a good match.

The Process
The bodywork of the M4 features some complex shapes, such as the wing mirror covers and front/rear bumpers. These parts can be a challenge to wrap, but our team has the skills and experience to provide a high quality finish.
Mr. M decided to de-chrome the vehicle at the same time – it’s the perfect opportunity as bumpers and trim are all removed prior to the wrapping process. The front grille and side markers were wrapped in gloss black, as well as the inset splitter areas on all 4 corners of the car to give the front and rear a more aggressive look.
The mirrors were given a two-tone look, too. The unique curved corners of the mirrors are wrapped in the new bodywork colour, Nardo Grey – the base and rear are wrapped gloss black to add some contrast.

The Results
We could tell the car was going to look great as soon as only a couple of panels were wrapped in the new colour. But this didn’t prepare us for the finished vehicle, which looks great, and really suits its new colour perfectly.
The gloss black and nardo grey combination works well on the BMW and once it was completed, cleaned and brought outside, we could see the amazing result.
