ID buzz camper conversion
ID buzz camper conversion by Reforma is our most recent enhancement to VW ID Buzz vehicle.
We recognise that there has been a growing demand for this kind of conversion therefore we’ve decided to complete them ourselves.
Our Full Reforma Conversion features the external Body Kit in Gloss Black and Bottom Half Wrap. Bottom Half was wrapped in Gloss Dragon Fire Red 3M vinyl creating the perfect contrast between two halves.
The body kit installed consists of Front and Rear Splitters, Side Skirts and Rear Spoiler.
The Camper pod Installed includes a single gas burner as well as the induction hob. There is also a sink, storage cupboard and casing bed unit. You can also watch the video we created featuring all the features and how they work here.

The Process
We begun the conversion by working on externals.
The first step was to wrap the half bottom of ID Buzz in Gloss Red. Our vinyl technicians carefully prepared all the panels by cleaning them with a specialised cleaning solution. They then proceed to apply pre-cut vinyl working panel by panel, every time ensuring there was no dirt or contamination that could show underneath. The most important step in vehicle wrapping is cleaning and preparation so we always spend extra time doing it.
After wrapping the buzz, our mechanic begun to work on body kit installation. He marked up the positions of the body parts to ensure the bonds aren’t visible once the parts are installed. He then prepares the surfaces by cleaning car and the body kit parts with specialised wipes and cleaners. It’s an important step to ensure maximum adhesion of the bond. Our technician then applies the primer and waits for it to cure – it’s to make sure the parts adhere strongly to the car. He then finishes with applying the bond and mounting the parts onto the vehicle. He finishes up up by ensuring the grip is correct and make sure to secure the parts in place.
Once dried, we seal the edges with waterproof sealant for the extra protection.

The Results
The completed ID buzz camper conversion is one of the very first in the country available for sale!
It presents itself absolutely spectacularly and has been transformed both internally as well as externally. It makes it a unique vehicle guaranteed to catch anyone’s attention on the road!
