Electric vehicles are now becoming the norm and Jaguar have entered the market with the I-Pace. With a very successful launch, popularity of this full electric family car has grown and as ever the wrap demand has too. This particular model was brought to us by Farnell Jaguar Land Rover Guiseley. With its original colour in metallic black, they opted for a more bright and fun 3M 1080 Gloss Ocean Simmer (Baby Blue). Whilst still keeping an element of gloss black colour codes around the vehicle.

  • The Process

    With all full vehicle wraps, the process begins with an extensive wash and prep. Removing all dirt and debris from the vehicle. The I-Pace is then brought into our workshop to be air dried and further prepped with our surface cleaner. Each is equip with a works sheet highlighting all that is being done to it. Our workshop work in parallel with our in-house production and office team to receive all the vinyls and information necessary to complete the job in the most efficient manor. Our technicians then begin to strip the parts necessary off the I-Pace to allow our vehicle wrappers the space needed to apply the vinyl. Whilst our team begin to apply the 3M Gloss Ocean Simmer, our workshop quality controls manger inspects each panel to ensure he is happy with the standard of work completed. If he isn’t, we will strip back the vinyl and do it again. This may delay projects but we are very strict on how we like our work to leave our doors as we hold a 12 month workmanship warranty on all the projects we complete. Once all the panels have been applied, the same team of technicians will begin to re-assemble the I-Pace whilst completing controls checks to ensure all extracts are working as they should. Once the I-Pace is signed off by the technicians, it is forwarded onto our detailing team where it is given a full valet ready for the customer to collect. Final touches are very important therefore we ensure all vehicles are presentable before they leave us.

  • The Results

    The final results of the full vehicle wrap makes this I-Pace one of the most unique on the road to date. The gloss baby blue really does stand out on the road as there are not many manufactures that sell the colour as standard. The dealership were incredibly happy with the results as were their customers having been sold within the first 2 weeks of entering the showroom.
