Satin Black Wrap with Carbon Goodies
This Ford Focus RS was treated to a full wrap with carbon dipped extras. The vehicle was in gloss black as standard and the owner wanted it wrapping in a full Satin Black wrap. In addition a wide range of trim was carbon dipped – including the Front splitter, Grille, Bonnet vents, Headlight trims, Fog light surrounds, Side vents, Wing mirrors, Rear spoiler and Rear diffuser.

The Process
The gloss black body of the car was cleaned, and then the various body parts which were to be carbon dipped, were removed and treated. While the dipping process was ongoing, the vehicle body was being wrapped in a Satin Black wrap. The door shuts were left in the original paint, as the gloss paint looked great against the satin black wrap. Once the extra parts had been carbon dipped, they were all refitted after the wrap was completed, replacing the old dull plastic parts with glossy carbon finish parts.

The Results
The transformation from gloss black to satin black wrap with carbon is impressive – the finish really accentuates the body shape of the Focus ST. The carbon fibre parts have a glossy finish which look excellent alongside the satin finish, offering a contrast between gloss and satin, all around the vehicle.
