Classic Rolls
Silver Cloud

Looking through our other Case Studies here, you’ll soon establish that we know our way around a Rolls Royce. It’s not every day however, that we see a classic like this come in to our workshop. The Silver Cloud is considered the definitive Rolls Royce and was the core model of the Rolls-Royce range during the 1950s-60s, famous for being owned by Elvis Presley and Carey Grant. The owner of this one came to us with a project to transform it from it’s black and grey two-tone, to a luxurious and classy white colour.

  • The Process

    Unlike working with the more modern Rolls Royce models such as the Phantom and Wraith, this classic did not require much breaking down. Only the front grille and headlight housings needed to be removed from the chassis so our fitters were able to wrap the vinyl straight onto the car with the care and precision we are known for. The vinyl selected for this project was Avery Gloss Pearl White which really does provide excellent performance and conformability.

  • The Results

    As you can see from the images below, the Gloss Pearl White set against the chrome detailing has really brought out the class, refinement and beauty of this classic automobile. With it’s gracious curvature and imposing presence, this classic would be perfect for a wedding and other prestigious events.
